On the western coast of the peninsula of Istra, about 60 miles away from Trieste, there is a small, ancient town named Rovinj. The charme of its historic core still unspoiled through the centuries, the particularity of its unusual mediterranean flora, the well-being due to its mild climate, a real treasure of ancient monuments and relics, a splendid sprout of small beautiful islands and cliffs make Rovinj one of the most beautiful small cities of the Adriatic coast.

About 5 miles north of the city centre, right on the mouth of the long and deep Lim fjord, lies the touristic village of Valalta. Its marina hosts the "AQUALUNG DIVING".This centre, open all the year, offers you the possibility of diving at any skill level. Several diving expeditions occur daily, and some are arranged during the night. You may reckon with us for renting the diving equipment as well as for providing you with air supply. Diving courses for beginners are organized weekly.
You are kindly invited to join us diving in the Rovinjan waters, enjoying its caves, its shallows and its sandy bottom.

Don't miss the opportunity of discovering, in all their majestic silence, the wracks from world war I and II: "BARONGAUTSCH", "NUMIDIA", the destroyer “GIUSEPPE DEZZA” and many others.
